Update: Ecodesign for Printers and Cartridges

The European Remanufacturing Council has issued this position paper in response to the draft legal text for the ecodesign of printers and cartridges.  In it, we ask why existing ecodesigned printers and cartridges have been ignored in favour of a perfect model imagined by policymakers.  "Let's not have the perfect drive out the good.  This draft text is not going to increase investment in remanufacturing.  Instead, it is lawyers who will be delighted by the work it will create", said Director, David Fitzsimons.
